A new school year brings new hope, but for thousands of children in underserved communities, the start of the term is marked not by excitement but by anxiety. School fees are unpaid. Uniforms are worn out. Bags are empty. Books are missing.
The BCF Annual Back to School Outreach exists to remove every one of those barriers.
Each year, Boby’s Charity Foundation hosts its flagship education outreach event, bringing together children, parents, volunteers, and donors to celebrate the start of a new academic year. Selected beneficiary children receive everything they need to walk confidently through their school gate on the first day of term.
Together, we can ensure that every child in our community starts the new year ready to learn.
What Beneficiary Children Receive
- Payment of school fees for the academic term
- Brand new school uniform (shirt, trousers/skirt, socks, shoes)
- A fully stocked school bag (notebooks, textbooks, pens, pencils, ruler, calculator)
- Encouragement, mentorship, and a personal send-off from the BCF team
- A moment of celebration, gratitude, and togetherness
Who Can Benefit?
Children from low-income households who are currently out of school or at risk of dropping out due to financial constraints. Beneficiaries are identified through our community outreach and partner networks ahead of the event. To nominate a child, contact us at info@bobyscharityfoundation.org
How You Can Help
- Sponsor a child: cover one child's full back-to-school package
- Donate school supplies: in-kind donations of stationery, books, and uniforms are welcome
- Volunteer on the day: help with registration, distribution, and coordination
